Who is PackagingPrice.com?

PackagingPrice.com is a leading packaging materials supplier. Due to our buying power and internal systems, we are able to simplify and reduce the cost of purchasing shipping and packaging materials.

Is there a minimum order size?

At PackagingPrice.com There is no minimum order size, however, we cannot break cases or bundles. Order what you want, when you need it.

Can I view my past orders and other information pertaining to my account online?

Yes. Your account history is available through secured password access. By referencing this information online, you can view past orders and place reorders, all with a simple mouse click and in a matter of seconds. Simply click on the "Order History" page, and you will have immediate access to all information pertaining to previous orders.

Can I order custom items?

PackagingPrice.com does not offer custom items such as printed boxes or special sizes.

How can I pay for my order?

PackagingPrice.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards. Qualified customers may order on account. If you would like to apply for credit with us, please call our customer service department at 888-236-1729. Government agencies, schools, and hospitals can be shipped on open account.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

At PackagingPrice.com, we don't bury freight expenses into our material costs. You deserve to know what you are paying for materials as well as for freight. That is why we show you exactly what the freight charges are going to be BEFORE your order is finalized. Since freight is calculated on your entire order, simply add the items you desire into your shopping cart. From the "Shopping Cart" page, simply click on the "Shipping Cost" button, and you will be shown your exact shipping charges. You will be asked to either log in or register with our site, but you are under no obligation to make your purchase at this time. You may perform as many shipping calculations as you want. This can help you determine the most cost effective order to place.

Do you offer any price discounts?

At PackagingPrice.com, we attempt to price our products at the most competitive price for any quantity. However, we understand that for very large volumes, we may be able to offer discounted prices. This is determined on a product-by-product basis. The minimum quantity is typically a pallet quantity of an individual item. Customers can obtain volume discount information by speaking with one of our customer service representatives.

Are samples available?

PackagingPrice.com does offer samples of most of our products unless they are listed as “Truck Only” (limit 1 per stock number ). Simply email our Sample department at cserv@PackagingPrice.com to request a sample (Please provide stock numbers and a ship to address, no P.O. Boxes please) - We will contact you back to request cc information for your sample/s after receipt of your request.

** We will contact you back requesting your ground service account info to ship samples collect on your account, if you do not have an account we will quote the fed-ex ground charges to ship your samples. **

How do I cancel an order?

If you wish to cancel an order, call PackagingPrice.com immediately (WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF PLACING YOUR ORDER) at 888-236-1729, and a customer service representative will be happy to assist you. Since most orders are processed immediately upon completion, it may not be possible to cancel your order. If this is the case, please call our customer service department to make the appropriate arrangements.

Is my order secure?

Yes. All online orders are 100% secure through encrypted SSL technology. We have taken every step to ensure the safety of your personal information.

Do you store credit card numbers?

No. PackagingPrice.com does not maintain a database of credit card numbers and names thereby eliminating the possibility of anyone obtaining your credit information for misuse from your account history information.

Do you share my email address with any other companies?

No. Our policy at PackagingPrice.com dictates that we do not share personal data about our customers with anyone outside of our company unless necessary for order processing (for example UPS or other carriers).

What is your shipping policy?

At PackagingPrice.com, we don't bury freight expenses into our material costs. You deserve to know what you are paying for materials as well as for freight. That is why we show you exactly what the freight charges are going to be before your order is finalized. PackagingPrice.com ships all orders pre-paid and charges you for the shipping. All shipping charges are final, and are not estimates. You will not be charged any additional amounts after your order is finalized. All orders ship Ground Service. However, some of our items exceed ground service size and weight limitations, and thus can only be shipped via "Common Carrier Truck." If one item in your order is a "truck only" item, your entire order will be shipped via truck.

Common carrier and Our Local Truck” are dock to dock delivery. (Inside Delivery, Liftgate is required, or carrier must phone before delivery, customer will be responsible for these added charges) Please also make sure to register as “residential” if you are a home based business or house, as registering as “commercial” would also incur added charges from the freight carrier and ground service

When will my order ship?

Most orders leave our warehouse within 24 hours. We do not ship on weekends or holidays. Please add 1 - 2 days for truck (Common Carrier) shipments. PackagingPrice.com will notify you via email if any items are on back order.

How can I track my order?

There are two ways to track your orders:

1) PackagingPrice.com will email a shipment confirmation notification for all orders that ship via ground service. This email contains all the information necessary to track your shipment.

2) Simply call our customer service department at 888-236-1729, and one of our representatives will be happy to help you.

How are shipping costs calculated?

Shipping costs are based primarily on two factors. First, the items you are purchasing. Second, where the order is shipping. Our shopping cart calculates shipping costs based on the TOTAL weight of the order - not by individual items. Once we determine the total weight of an order, and combine this with the shipping classifications of each item ordered, we then can determine how many parcels the shipment will be. We always attempt to combine items in order to ship the fewest number of parcels. If an order can ship via ground service, our system simply refers to the ground service shipping charts, and posts the total cost from the selected carrier. However, if an order cannot be shipped via ground service, our system then refers to multiple Common Carrier rate charts, and selects the least expensive rate. Our shipping calculator automatically selects the least expensive method of shipment. For example, an order of 10,000 4 x 4 x 4 boxes can be shipped via ground service, but would be much less expensive to ship via Common Carrier (truck).

Can I pick up my order?

Customer pick-up is available at our Barrington, IL facility only. ( Note: not all items are available at this warehouse ) Other warehouses are not staffed for customer pick-up. For customer pick-up, orders must be phoned in by 3:00pm, and will be available for pick-up between 10:00am and 3:00pm the next day. Call our customer service department to arrange: 888-236-1729.

Is overnight shipping available?

PackagingPrice.com can ship orders overnight to our customers. Please contact our customer service department to arrange shipment.

Can I use my own carrier?

PackagingPrice.com is able to ship on our customers' "Common Carrier" accounts, but not on their ground service accounts. To have your order shipped on your account, please contact our customer service department to make arrangements.

What if an item is back ordered?

PackagingPrice.com will notify you via email if any items are on back order. Please contact our customer service department if you would like to make alternate arrangements such as substituting items, partial shipments, or canceling back-ordered items.

What is your return policy?

Items can be returned within 30 days of receipt. If items were shipped in error or damaged in transit, PackagingPrice.com will pay for all return charges, and waive any restocking fees. However, if PackagingPrice.com shipped your order per your specifications but you would still like to return items, return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility, and a 15% re-stocking fee will apply. First, Please contact our Customer Service department for a Return Authorization Number and shipping instructions. Please note that we are unable to accept returns without prior approval, and that we will refuse delivery of unauthorized merchandise returns.

** All items must be returned in new, undamaged. resaleable condition (full bundles/cases only) ** We cannot accept returns on custom sizes or any custom printed items **

*Please keep in mind that once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order, it will then fall under our standard return policy, where roundtrip shipping costs and restock fee will be deducted from your refund *

**If ordering a Bulk Qty and special pricing has been given to you, this is considered a Custom Run and the restock fee on all custom runs is 25% - you would also be responsible for the return freight to address outlined in RA# email**

What if my shipment is lost by the carrier?

In the unlikely event that a carrier loses your order, for your convenience PackagingPrice.com will send a replacement order to you immediately. We will handle all claims with the carrier. If a carrier only delivers part of your order, make sure to note the missing items when you sign for your shipment. Carriers are responsible for missing items only when noted on the shipping documents. Please make sure to inspect the delivery for any damaged or missing items, and write the details of the items on the shipping documents. If a shipment is signed for in full, PackagingPrice.com will not be responsible for any missing items.

What if my shipment is damaged?

Despite our best efforts, items may occasionally be damaged in transit. Carriers are responsible for damaged items only if the damage is noted when you sign for your shipment. Please make sure to inspect the delivery for any damaged or missing items, and write the details of the items on the shipping documents. If a shipment is signed for in full, PackagingPrice.com will not be responsible for any damaged items.
