These 12 x 16 inch flat poly bags are manufactured from 100% virgin polyethylene film at a 6 mil thickness, placing them in the heavy-duty tier of open-mouth poly bag construction. The extra wall thickness delivers strong resistance to punctures and tears, and the bags meet FDA and USDA specifications for direct food contact applications.
The 6 mil gauge makes these bags appropriate where lighter 2 or 4 mil options would be insufficient — metal components, hardware, industrial fasteners, bulk dry food products, and other dense or sharp-edged contents. Their flat, gusset-free profile works well in manufacturing, distribution, food processing, and high-volume fulfillment environments.
Each bag opens flat with no bottom gusset and accepts closure via twist ties, bag tape, or an impulse sealer to suit your packing line setup. Cases contain 500 bags.
