This 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 x 48 inch outer sleeve is one half of a two-piece telescoping box system built from ECT-32 single wall kraft corrugated board. The outer carton slides over the inner box to accommodate varying heights of long or awkwardly dimensioned items, eliminating the need to stock multiple fixed-height box sizes. A full overlap (FOL) bottom distributes load across the base for added structural integrity during transit and stacking.

Telescoping box systems are well suited for shipping rolled goods, athletic equipment, flags, banners, lighting fixtures, industrial tubing, and architectural materials — anywhere a standard RSC box would require excessive void fill or fall short on length.
