These 8 x 14 inch flat poly bags are manufactured from 100% virgin polyethylene film at a 6 mil thickness, placing them firmly in the extra heavy-duty category. That gauge delivers strong resistance to punctures and tears, making them a reliable barrier for parts, components, hardware, documents, and other items that standard 1 or 2 mil bags cannot adequately protect.
The virgin polyethylene film meets FDA and USDA specifications for direct food contact, making these bags equally at home in food service and food manufacturing environments as in industrial or commercial packaging lines. Bags can be closed with twist ties, bag tape, or heat-sealed using an impulse sealer for a tamper-evident or moisture-resistant finish.
Each case contains 500 bags. The open-end design accommodates flat or low-profile contents up to 8 x 14 inches and is compatible with manual or automated bagging workflows.
